This weeks match that Lucha Libre USA posted. Petey Williams vs. LA Park
A little something I found where Petey is on an episode on MadeFitTV!
***I need to stress that this is nothing more than a rumor and I don’t know how much truth there is to this!*** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbxQ4va9LLc Petey was released from TNA earlier this year because TNA had nothing else planned for him, they didn’t know where to go with him. Personally I think this was the stupidest decision ever amde in the history of TNA. They should have just let him go back to who he was when he was with Team Canada, that’s pretty basic and good enough. Petey hasn’t really been in one solid place ever since leaving TNA, he’s been with the BCW for one match, AJPW as well ROH for a little bit, he has not been signed anywhere for a long amount of time, all been day to day contracts. Now there has been a few people around the locker room in TNA who have heard that Petey might be coming back sometime next year. As you may or may not know the new era of TNA is basically the old ear, they are making the X Division the better and the number 1 division, and Hulk Hogan has already tried getting some former TNA X Division wrestlers back in TNA. If Hogan is responsible for bring the X Division back to how it was and if he brings back other wrestlers and Petey Williams I think it would all be good for TNA. People backstage that were close with Williams were shocked with the fact that he was released, they believe he has the potential like AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels, he just hasn’t been pushed as big since 2004. |
