Last week we learned of the huge Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match signed for Contenders Cup on February 25th, and today we are happy to announce another blockbuster match. This bout should come as no surprise as the New CLASH Champion “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams will defend his title against the former Champion “GQ” Gavin Quinn!

Gavin Quinn held the CLASH Championship for a record 15 months in a reign that may never be matched. On February 25th, the brash GQ will get his guaranteed rematch for the title! Should Petey Williams defeat Quinn at the Contenders Cup, he will do what no man has been able to do in two years, that is, defeat Gavin Quinn in a singles match (Quinn’s last pinfall loss in singles competition was against Jimmy Jacobs in February 2010).

Furthermore this will be the third time in the last 12 months that Quinn & Williams will square off in singles competition with Quinn leading Petey 2-0 in their prior encounters. Can Petey Williams finally defeat Gavin Quinn to continue his Championship reign? As you can see (if not refresh) the website has a new layout thanks to Cristy @ DaxStudios. She always does an awesome job on everyone’e graphics. I’ve also been doing a little clean up on the site trying to make it look neater. The sidebar will need a little fix up which should be done in the next day or so. I’ve been working on this for awhile and now it’s finished for the most part. Only because it’s one of those on going things. I added a results section to the site. So now you can see who, what, when and where Petey wrestled and whether he won or not. Mind you it will never be 100% because of all the Indy shows he worked when he first started. But if you know of an Indy date that’s not there then please feel free to send me an email and let me know and I’ll make sure to add it. You can find it under Petey > Results as it is easy to look for by year.

3 Years ago today the site was born. Starting with a webs hosting site to where it is today. It’s grown a lot more than I thought it would. This is my baby and I will continue to keep going as long as I can. Thanks to everyone that’s visited and sent things in. Remember this is the ONLY site out there for our very own Petey Williams.

O CANADA!

Now that I have my early Christmas present of a new laptop I’ve been spending the good last few days moving things from one laptop to the other. My old laptop was running so slow there was no point in trying to do anything because it would take forever. But now with my new laptop I can burn things to disks which is what I’ll do to free up room on my laptop. So I thought I would update you guys on a few things to come for the new year (or sometime around that!)

1. Update the gallery
2. Add videos
3. Get a new layout
4. Add a Results section
5. Clean up the site

is when this site opened and now it’s TWO YEARS later. Became his official site in the beginning of January bring much joy to me. For two years despite all the problems with hosting PeteyWilliams.com has been the ONLY site to get up to date and accurate information on the one and only ”Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams. I hope to continue to keep fans updated and bring you more and exciting things in the future. As you all know how much of a fan I am of Petey Williams. xD I also want to thank everyone who has helped me with this site from sending in things to making me layouts. But a huge thanks goes to DJ @ Chris-Sabin.com for helping me with well just about everything. ^__^ Without her this site wouldn’t be where it is today. So much LUFF for you!

Show will now stream online…

There was talk at yesterday’s Lucha Libre USA Masked Warriors taping in Charlotte that the show had been cancelled. Wrestlers at the event were told that it would just be a house show. However the show was in fact taped for online streaming, and for now the MTV2 show is “on hiatus” and not cancelled.

The show drew around 1,000 fans. David and Reid Flair wrestled as a team at the show, with Reid making Tinieblas Jr. tap out to the figure four. Ric Flair was at the show but left before the taping began.

Former TNA talent Petey Williams debuted on the show.
